Congratulations Therese Murray.
Gee, we replaced Finneran with DiMasi, Romney with Patrick, and now Traviglini with Murray, maybe there is a Higher Power after all

Sorry to be off topic, but just wanted to mention I really like the fact that you have a blog on this subject.
I already wasn't a homophobe, but during my attempted recovery from what's turned into an undiagnosable endless ordeal, I was misdiagnosed for several years.
My cousin and her partner opened their homes to me during that period because one of the world's leading experts on the condition they thought I had was near their residence. I made fourteen trips there from New Hampshire, spending several weeks to several months at at time. They made their house totally mine - way beyond what you'd expect. My cousin's partner had never even set eyes on me before I went down there.
They're the sanest couple I've happened to know. I mean genuine, consistent mutual respect. My cousin also has two daughters from a previous marriage and they were, HORRORS raised in a LESBIAN ENVIRONMENT!
The whole thing gave me a real feel for how unfortunate and genuinely ludicrous homophobia is. The two daughters are hetero, (phew... kidding, of course), both have kids, and both grandmothers are highly involved with the families.
My cousin's two daughters, when they were kids, were anything but traumatized and absolutely love their stepmom who they've known most of their lives. As teenagers they used to crack each other up at parties and gatherings by introducing their "stepmother" to someone at some point - after first having introduced their mother! Then they'd watch to see if the person got it or was just confused and clueless!
Sorry so long and off topic, but glad you're out there.
Replacing Romney with Patrick is a plus on just a few issues. Which prism are viewing this trough my dear?
through not trough
Hi Maggie, the pink prism, of course.
